Since 1986, K&W Grinding has been putting a new spin on old diamond wheels, restoring them to high-performance working order and putting them back into production again and again. We provide value to our customers by saving them up to 80% of the cost of purchasing a new wheel.

Optimization of Profiles
We are dedicated to providing our customers with premium results they expect and deserve from K&W Grinding. Prior to re-profiling, we consult with them on the specifications of the diamond wheel profile. This exchange is necessary to ensure the best possible profile which guarantees:
- “Quick Start” for each and every diamond wheel
- Little or no scrap at startup or changeover
- Maximum edge-strength on cut materials
- Higher production capabilities per shift, per day
- The highest amount of re-profiles per wheel
It’s standard practice for many of our customers to trust us to provide the first profile because they know we’ll cut it right the first time and remove the least amount of material possible, ensuring the longest life of each and every diamond wheel that we re-profile. Quick Start Wheels
One of the best benefits of our service is what we call “Quick Start.” Most grinding wheels have to be started at 80% of the potential power and waste several pieces of material before they are conditioned enough to run at 100%. Wheels serviced by our team are ready to go at 100% without being conditioned and generally waste only one piece of material or none at all.
Wheel Maintenance Program
Everyone wins with routine wheel maintenance! Continually sending us worn out wheels, greatly reduces the odds of unexpected hassles and breakdowns while optimizing turn-around time. The added benefits are consistent cost and no need for inventory as well as dealing with one trusted source for both re-profiled AND new wheels. Data Reports
We take all of the guesswork out of the process and reduce it to well-tracked facts in our data reports for every wheel. It’s important to our customers to have specific details at their fingertips such as how much material we’ve removed per re-profiling and how many times the wheel has been redressed since purchase, etc. For them, these figures mean fewer “surprises” in their process, which enables them to focus on their customers. This report also includes testing cycle data straight from the supplier, which shows measurable production yields associated with the amount of material removed from the diamond wheel.
Fast Turn Around Time
We guarantee that your redressed wheels will leave our facility within 48 hours of when we receive them.
Easy Identification
Profiles and measurements can be marked on each wheel and each wheel can be color-coded according to your specifications for easy differentiation within your facility.
